The West Douglas County Fire Protection Association is an organization, separate from the WDCFP District, whose membership includes members of the Department. The Association provides recognition and support for the Department, and sponsors and participates in community events. The Association is funded by donations and fund raising activities, not by taxes, and is governed by officers elected by its members.
